How it started

Ruba was created with one purpose: bringing people closer to healthy & fresh food.

We noticed a huge gap in the fast food market, the lack of healthy options.
If someone wanted to have a quick bite to eat, they had to go for unhealthy options - and if you wanted a healthy meal? Well, you had to break the bank. It was as if the word 'fast food' was only dedicated to unhealthy food options.
 

Well, we decided to change that. We've created Ruba.

A healthy food concept, combining healthy ingredients to create delicious bowls.

However, we couldn't have chosen a worse time to open. Opening shortly before the pandemic hit in 2020, we were already forced to close our doors in Leuven.

But after 3 weeks, we were tired of sitting at home. Ruba re-opened its doors!

This was probably the best decision we've ever made.
