Giveaway Terms & Conditions

1. Organiser

The “Win Ruba for a Year” giveaway is organised by Ruba (“Ruba”, “we”, “us”).

By participating in the giveaway, participants confirm that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

2. How it works

Ruba operates an ongoing promotional giveaway through its customer feedback programme.

For every 100 valid feedback submissions received, one winner will be selected at random from those 100 participants.

After a winner has been selected, a new group begins. Once another 100 valid feedback submissions have been received, another winner will be selected.

This process continues for as long as the promotion remains active.

3. How to participate

Participation is free and no purchase is necessary.

To participate, entrants must complete and submit the official Ruba feedback form available through the Ruba website.

Only completed and valid feedback submissions are eligible.

Participants are encouraged to provide genuine feedback about their experience with Ruba. Feedback may be positive, neutral or negative. The content or sentiment of the feedback has no influence on the participant's chance of winning.

Leaving a public review, including a Google review, is not required to participate or win.

4. Eligibility

The giveaway is open to individuals residing in Belgium.

Participants who are minors may be required to obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian before a prize can be awarded.

Employees of Ruba and persons directly involved in administering the giveaway are not eligible to participate.

Each person may submit one eligible entry per genuine Ruba experience. Duplicate, automated, fraudulent or otherwise abusive submissions may be excluded.

Ruba reserves the right to verify the validity of an entry where reasonably necessary.

5. Winner selection

Every consecutive group of 100 valid feedback submissions constitutes one giveaway group.

Once a group reaches 100 valid submissions, one winner will be selected at random from those 100 entries.

Each valid entry within that group has an equal chance of being selected.

After a winner has been selected, the entries within that group will no longer participate in subsequent draws.

The next valid submission will become the first entry in the next group of 100.

6. The prize

Each winner receives Ruba for a year, consisting of 12 free Ruba bowls: one free bowl per month for 12 consecutive months.

The prize period begins from the date communicated to the winner by Ruba.

The free monthly bowl applies to one standard Ruba bowl. Premium ingredients, extras, delivery charges and other supplements are not included and may be charged separately.

The monthly free bowl:

  • may be redeemed once per calendar month;

  • cannot be accumulated or carried over to another month;

  • cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or another product;

  • cannot be transferred or sold to another person; and

  • expires if it is not redeemed during the applicable month.

Each winner can therefore redeem a maximum of 12 free bowls during the 12-month prize period.

7. Redeeming the prize

Winners will receive instructions from Ruba explaining how their monthly free bowl can be redeemed.

Ruba may administer the prize through a personal promotional code, loyalty account, voucher or another reasonable method.

The prize is intended for personal use by the winner. Ruba may request reasonable identification to prevent misuse or transfer of the prize.

Unless expressly communicated otherwise, third-party delivery charges and service fees are not included in the prize.

8. Contacting winners

Winners will be contacted using the contact information provided through the feedback form.

Ruba will contact the selected winner after each group of 100 valid entries has been completed and the draw has taken place.

The selected winner must respond within 7 calendar days of being contacted.

If a winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within this period, provided incorrect contact information or is found to be ineligible, Ruba may select another winner from the same group of 100 entries.

Ruba is not required to publicly announce the identity of a winner.

9. Duration of the promotion

The “Win Ruba for a Year” giveaway is an ongoing promotion and does not have a predetermined end date.

The promotion remains active until Ruba announces that it has ended.

Ruba may terminate the promotion by publishing or communicating an announcement through the Ruba website, feedback page or another appropriate Ruba communication channel.

Termination of the promotion will not affect prizes that have already been awarded.

If the promotion is terminated while fewer than 100 valid entries have been received in the current group, one final winner will be selected at random from the valid entries remaining in that group.

10. Feedback and public reviews

Participation in the giveaway is based exclusively on submitting feedback directly to Ruba.

Participants are free to provide positive, neutral or negative feedback. The nature of the feedback does not affect the participant's eligibility or chance of winning.

Participants are not required to leave a review on Google, social media or any other public platform.

Any optional invitation to publish a public review is separate from the giveaway and does not affect a participant's eligibility or chances of winning.

11. Personal data

Personal information submitted in connection with the giveaway will be processed by Ruba for the purposes of administering the promotion, validating entries, selecting and contacting winners, preventing misuse and administering prizes.

Where participants have separately consented to receive marketing communications, their information may also be used for those purposes in accordance with Ruba's Privacy Policy.

Participation in the giveaway does not automatically constitute consent to receive marketing communications.

Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Ruba's Privacy Policy.

12. Invalid entries and abuse

Ruba may exclude entries where there are reasonable grounds to believe that a participant has:

  • submitted fraudulent, duplicate or artificial feedback;

  • attempted to manipulate the giveaway or winner-selection process;

  • used automated systems to submit entries;

  • provided false or misleading information; or

  • otherwise abused the promotion.

Ruba reserves the right to withdraw a prize where it is subsequently established that the winning entry was fraudulent or otherwise ineligible.

13. Changes to the promotion

Ruba may reasonably modify these Terms & Conditions or the operation of the promotion when necessary.

Any material changes will apply prospectively and will be communicated through the feedback page or another appropriate Ruba communication channel.

Changes will not affect prizes that have already been awarded.

14. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ruba is not responsible for submissions that cannot be received because of technical failures, internet interruptions, incorrect contact information or circumstances outside Ruba's reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited under Belgian law.

15. Applicable law

These Terms & Conditions and the giveaway are governed by Belgian law.

Any dispute relating to the giveaway will be subject to the competent Belgian courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable to participants.
